Maria Old Age Home is a warm, family-run home where our elderly are cared for with dignity, kept close to community, and never short of a friendly hand on the shoulder.
Tucked away on Toulouse Street, Maria Old Age Home has become a second family for the elders who live here — and for the families who trust us with them. We believe growing older should never mean growing lonely.
Our days are unhurried. There's tea in the lounge, sunshine on the lawn, hymns on a Sunday, and always someone nearby to hold a hand, share a story, or simply sit a while. Whether a resident needs a wheelchair, a walking stick, or just good company, our caregivers are there — patient, present, and proud of the work they do.
We're a small home with a big heart, and we'd love for you to come see it for yourself.

We are endlessly grateful to the local businesses and organisations who visit, donate and spend time with our residents throughout the year.
The Air Liquide team spent the day with us, handing out warm blankets and groceries to keep our residents cosy through winter.
Teksa Alarms — Service to People — joined us on the lawn for an afternoon of gifts, laughter and good conversation.
To every donor, volunteer and visitor: your blankets, groceries and time mean more to our residents than words can say. If your organisation would like to spend a day with us, we'd love to have you.
Trained caregivers are on hand day and night, for anything from medication to a comforting chat.
Three warm, wholesome meals a day, cooked fresh and shared together around the table.
Sunny lawns, games days and group activities that keep bodies moving and spirits high.
Level paths and wide-open lawns mean every resident can move freely, indoors and out.
Our doors are open. Come for tea, a birthday, or just an ordinary Tuesday afternoon.
Regular visits from local businesses and volunteers bring fresh faces and full hearts.
Pop in for a visit, give us a call, or send through an email — we're always happy to hear from you.
